Dickinson Farm was designated a Live Well San Diego Recognized
Partner on June 10, 2017. Dickinson Farm is a Veteran-owned small
plot urban family farm in National City, California started with the
intent to provide affordable and accessible fresh produce to the
Dickinson Farm is an urban heirloom farm that partners with local businesses and the National City Chamber of Commerce to sell small quantities of unique heirloom fruits, vegetables and herbs. They also work with local restaurants including the Garden Kitchen Restaurant and Culinary Hedonism Supper Club. Additionally, Dickinson Farm will launch the farm fresh pantry brand Dickinson Larder to sell coffee and other goods harvested from the farm.
Dickinson Farm is a proud member of Homegrown by Heroes, the Farmer Veteran Coalition, San Diego Grown 365, the Farm Bureau of San Diego County, Slow Food USA, Slow Food Urban San Diego, the National Young Farmers Coalition, the San Diego New Farmers Guild, the National City Chamber of Commerce, the Rosie Network, Verified Military Family-Owned, Veteran Women Igniting the Spirit of Entrepreneurship, and the Coalition for Veteran Owned Business. They are in the planning stages of developing an Urban Farm Intern and Education Program for military veterans.
