Live Well San Diego Lions Club

The Live Well San Diego Lions Club joined Live Well San Diego as a recognized partner on July 22, 2014, by supporting healthy, safe, and thriving children and adults in San Diego County. The Lions Club believes that everyone deserves to have a healthy life and the opportunity to live in a thriving community. The Live Well San Diego Lions Club is part of the Lions Club International (LCI), which was formed in 1917 and has over 46,000 clubs in 209 countries with over 1.35 million members, thus making it the largest service club organization in the world.

The LCI and Live Well San Diego Lions Club’s mission is to inspire volunteers and members to serve their community, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace, and to always advocate for international understanding. The Live Well San Diego Lions Club participates in programs such as the San Diego Earth Fair and the Student Speaker Foundation. They also collaborate with other local clubs, such as the Encinitas Lions Club, which hosted The Gift of Sight event which provides free eye exams, blood pressure screenings, and hearing screenings for youth. The Live Well San Diego Lions Club also implements programs and activities to improve hunger, vision, youth and the environment and will continue to align their work with Live Well San Diego. The Live Well San Diego Lions Club is a committed Live Well San Diego partner and will continue to aid in improving health and wellness in the San Diego region.
