Ramona Valley Vineyard Association

The Ramona Valley Vineyard Association joined Live Well San Diego as a recognized partner on November 5, 2016. The mission of the Ramona Valley Vineyard Association is to promote, protect and enhance the Ramona Valley American Viticultural Area, local wines, vintners and community. In January 2006, Ramona Valley received an official American Viticultural Area designation for the geographic origin of where the grapes are grown and since then the Ramona Valley Vineyard Association has significantly contributed to the growth of the local wine grape and wine industry.

Ramona Valley Vineyard Association is committed to community, education, sustainable operation of vineyards and wineries and taking a leadership role within the San Diego County wine grape industry. Through their activities such as the Wine and Grape Symposium and Meet the Winemaker Weekend, Ramona Valley Vineyard Association provides education for members and the general public. In addition to contributing to efforts in the business arena, the Ramona Valley Vineyard Association embraces sustainable agriculture practices and some wineries have worked hard to gain organic distinction.

Moving forward, the Ramona Valley Vineyard Association is fully committed to the Live Well San Diego vision and will continue to promote education, agritourism and economic development which contribute towards a healthy, safe, and thriving community.
