Feeding San Diego joined Live Well San Diego as a recognized partner on March 29th, 2016. Feeding San Diego is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, founded in 2007, with a mission to “end hunger through healthy food, education and advocacy.” They fight hunger by working collaboratively with partner agencies, local school districts, corporate partners and volunteers to serve 60,000 children, families and seniors in need each week.

Moving forward, Feeding San Diego is committed to offering healthy food, with a goal of reducing the risk and impact of chronic diseases linked to food insecurity. It strives to ensure that no child is at risk of hunger, families have a solid foundation by having access to nutritious food and people can get help during hard times.
