Rancho Bernardo High School Friends of the Library became a Live Well San Diego partner on April 21, 2016. Rancho Bernardo High School (RBHS) Friends of the Library promotes growth in academia, health, well-being and social responsibility through its mission of supporting and providing for the intellectual, curricular and technological growth of Rancho Bernardo High School students and staff.
The program is committed to civic engagement and helping students develop knowledge, skills, values and motivation to make a difference. RBHS Friends of the Library advocates for student research, fostering literacy and providing quality learning tools to promote education, positive choices and social responsibility. RBHS Friends of the Library has been instrumental in supporting community activities including coordinating the Bookin’ It for the Broncos 5K and the Poetry Program for students. RBHS Friends of the Library is also instrumental in supporting the Rancho Bernardo High School library, organizing annual events including a Used Book Sale Program to raise money for the library’s continued success.
As a valuable community leader, RBHS Friends of the Library strives to promote a better quality of life in the community and to give students the opportunity to thrive in many areas of their lives. RBHS Friends of the Library supports the Live Well San Diego vision and is a strong partner in improving health and wellness in the North County region.
