Barbara Hughes, RD

CalFresh Healthy Living Registered Dietitian
County of San Diego, Health and Human Services Agency

Barbara Hughes directs the nutrition education program at the County of San Diego's CalFresh Healthy Living, including the development of the nutrition education component and materials/curricula for all age groups. As well as CalFresh Healthy Living, she coordinates other nutrition and physical activity promotion programs. She is a successful public health leader and policy advisor, managing projects for health promotion, food security, and chronic disease prevention and has many years of experience in community engagement and mobilizing stakeholders to build positive social change within health-related arenas.

      

  

     

Jessica Mendelsohn

Intergenerational Coordinator
County of San Diego, Health and Human Services Agency, East and North Central regions

Jessica is a Certified Health Education Specialist and holds a Master of Public Health degree, in addition to a certificate in grant writing.

      

  

     

Pam Plimpton

Intergenerational Coordinator
County of San Diego, Health And Human Services Agency, Aging & Independence Services

Pam has worked in older adult services for over 20 years. She holds a Master of Social Work degree.
