THANK YOU FOR PARTICIPATING!

Thank you for participating in the first ever Live Well San Diego Trails Challenge! Over the month of May we had over 300 hikers participating in our county-wide event that included 4 ranger-led hikes and the final Warrior Hike Challenge on May 29th! All together we reached over 5 million total steps, had 35,000 total active minutes, and donated over 550 meals to the Jacobs and Cushman San Diego Food Bank. Great job!

Vizer Meal Donations

Liz W. came in first place with 31 meals, Jennifer St. came in second with 28, and Jonathan R. came in third with 26 meals donated throughout May. Click here to see where you came in on the donation leader board!

Don't forget to keep hitting "donate" - Vizer will continue to help turn your sweat into meal donations even after the Trails Challenge is done.

Nature offers incredible healing powers for our mind and body and is a great place to "Be COVID Safe" while getting in some exercise. Thanks for joining the Live Well San Diego Trails Challenge to get active and breathe happy!

KICK IT UP A NOTCH

We’ve partnered with the Vizer app to power up our Trails Challenge. Vizer is a free app that converts workouts into meal donations. Use the app between May 1 and May 31 using corporate challenge code "LiveWell" to track your exercise for the month and donate as many meals as you can to the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank

HOW THE CHALLENGE WORKS

Step One: SWEAT

Download the free Vizer app and input group code "LiveWell". Choose your activity challenge each day - either to walk 10,000 steps, reach 30 active minutes, or take a workout class - and let your fitness tracker connect your activity to the Vizer app.

Step Two: GIVE

Every day that you reach your goal, make sure to tap "Donate" on the app to have Vizer partners donate a meal on your behalf to the Jacobs and Cushman San Diego Food Bank. We'll send out send reminders, encouragement, and leaderboards through the app to help keep you going so you meet your goal!

Step Three: HIKE

Join us each Saturday in May for a ranger-led hike or take a hike anywhere in San Diego County to help prepare you for the final Warrior Hike of the El Capitan Preserve on May 29.
