A specific strategy of Live Well Schools to support healthy schools is to provide data useful to districts, such as wellness policy analysis, trends in chronic absenteeism trends and district investments in wellness.

Live Well Schools’ 2019 Partnerships for Healthy Schools report provides countywide and district-specific data and analysis to start the discussion about how a strong wellness policy and investments in student physical and mental health and wellness can lead to better attendance.

To learn more about your district-specific data and trends please email Pam Smith for your school district's individual Healthy Schools report.

Another strategy is to build and strengthen relationships between schools, districts, County Health and Human Services agency staff, and community partners.

Progress in building more trusting relationships is allowing all parties to more quickly and effectively react to the many challenges presented by COVID-19 and find practical solutions together.
