Neighborhood Healthcare’s decade-long partnership with Live Well San Diego makes San Diego County a healthier place. We collectively work towards ensuring more families gain access to quality, compassionate, whole-person care, regardless of their circumstances. 

We express our shared purpose not just in words but also through action. These activities include participating in Live Well San Diego Signature Events by providing informational materials and well-being assessments such as blood pressure checks, vaccinations, glucose screenings, and other services to the public. These efforts not only offer immediate support but also help connect community members to our organization for ongoing care. Additionally, Neighborhood Healthcare conducted several outreach efforts with Live Well San Diego focused on preventive screenings, including mammogram outreach, which continues to promote long-term health improvements for the region. 

This is done in addition to serving our more than 100,000 Southern California patients in 500,000 visits. Live Well San Diego and Neighborhood Healthcare both recognize that healthy communities are prosperous ones. That’s why we collaborate with many other organizations in homeless care outreach, field medicine, children’s dental clinics, and food assistance programs throughout San Diego County. 

In carrying out these activities, we understand that health encompasses more than just vaccines and checkups. Guided by our “Better Together” motto, Neighborhood Healthcare, alongside Live Well San Diego and a network of government agencies and nonprofit partners, works to help families overcome barriers and thrive. Our combined resources address the social determinants of health and our united approach enhances the health and happiness of San Diego County families. 

We’re proud of our 10-year partnership with Live Well San Diego and look forward to future opportunities to expand access to care for those who need it most. We will continue to provide services to everyone, regardless of their financial situation. With the support of generous San Diego County businesses and residents we are making a meaningful difference and showing what’s possible when a community comes together to help everyone thrive.
