To facilitate countywide collaboration on age-friendly efforts, AIS hosts the Age-Friendly Roundtable, which convenes recognized Age-Friendly jurisdictions and organizations throughout the San Diego County each quarter to connect, learn, and share best practices.

There are currently 11 AARP Recognized Age-Friendly Communities across San Diego County and one Age-Friendly University:
